deals direct from Microsoft, IBM and Level 3 Communications which
validate HostLabs' position as a leading enabler in this area and
allows HostLabs to provide the best possible systems and network
support. HostLabs is the only Microsoft Applications Service Provider
Partner that is focused on enabling other service providers through
HostLabs direct dealerships with Microsoft, IBM and Level 3 Communications.
HostLabs
service provider partners, fondly referred to as Laboratory Partners
(Telecommunications Companies, Hosting Companies, System Integrators
and Outsourcers) implement HostLabs' turnkey software EXCHANGE UI
to establish on-demand, 'utility' solutions for their end-user customers
more quickly, at higher margins and quality of service, and with
much more ease than possible with hosting labs developed in-house.
Furthermore, service providers bundle and sell their choice of HostLabs-based
plug-in-solutions with their existing offerings. End-users benefit
from the dramatically reduced costs of Microsoft licensing, IBM
equipment and Level 3 Communications data center expertise and network
bandwidth.
HostLabs
has a compelling business model, ramping recurring revenues through
a revenue share with partners, and is experiencing high gross margins
through its ASP model. HostLabs' revenue model is based on cost
per seat per month and initial setup charges, shared between HostLabs
and its partners. The end user pays the service provider who in
turn pays HostLabs. As client seats are initiated and then brought
online, revenues grow on a month-by-month basis. This distribution
model enables HostLabs to scale its revenues with very low variable
costs and high gross margins. The service partners manage sales
and distribution, as well as first level technical support. Partners
are selected on their ability to service the market and their installed
base of clients that could utilize this service. With several existing
contracted service providers in cross-industry markets and the outlook
of partner opportunities arising through Microsoft, IBM and Level
3 Communications channels, HostLabs has strong prospects for future
growth.
